Dave Rogers Director of Innov8 Security started his working career with British Telecom. He was trained as a cable jointer for the company with his role including installing and joining large underground cables for the telephone network, then moved into providing telephone line service to residential homes.
In 1994 Dave decided it was time to follow his dream so he joined the British Army, in the Royal Engineers. Here he trained as a signaler whose job was to set up and maintain radio communications in a HQ armored fighting vehicle for officers so they were able to communicate to the front line and the rear echelons during training exercises. Dave’s role also saw him being responsible for maintaining the vehicles for operations.
Dave left the Army in 1998, and joined a small security company where he learnt about installation and servicing roles. He then went on to work for a large national security company to further his skills as an installation engineer before setting up and starting his own business in 2010.
